Kingston Chung

Kinesiologist

Kingston graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2017 and has been a practicing kinesiologist ever since, certified under the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). With a focus on active health and rehabilitation during his studies, he has extensive knowledge with exercise prescription and specializes in active rehabilitation and performance training.

Kingston takes an approach that looks at the entire body as a connected system and addresses muscular imbalances. He is a firm believer in incorporating functional movements after establishing a strong foundation to provide the best outcomes for his clients. He enjoys helping others gain the capacity to accomplish activities of daily living pain-free and at their greatest potential.

In his free time Kingston loves being outdoors, whether that be hiking local trails or mountains, camping, or biking and skiing. Growing up in Richmond, he had a strong passion for basketball and competed in high school and at the provincial level for a few years. He continues to play competitively in local men’s leagues with his friends. He also enjoys working out regularly as he finds it both physically and mentally rewarding.

Kingston is trained and certified in Functional Movement Systems™ Level 1, Soft Tissue Release Level 1, and has completed Functional Assessment of the Spine and Extremities. He has worked with individuals with sports-related injuries, ICBC injuries, return-to-work programs, neurological disorders, and the elderly population in long-term care facilities.

Kingston is offering both telehealth and in-clinic visits.
