As a licenced acupuncturist, Jason believes in guiding a natural healing process within the body to treat the root of the problem. Collaboration with other health care professionals in the co-management of a patient’s condition is also encouraged to optimize treatment results. The best results also involve empowering and educating patients to take an active role in their recovery and provides TCM-based lifestyle/dietary recommendations tailored to each patient’s constitution.

Jason combines various TCM treatment modalities in his practice to assist his clients to achieve ultimate health. In combination with acupuncture, he provides Tui Na, Gua Sha (scraping), Ear-Acupressure and Cupping to bring relief to his clients.

Jason has experienced tremendous success in treating a variety of health concerns including musculoskeletal disorders, pain management, gastrointestinal disorders, emotional disorders, gynecological disorders and more. Regular treatments can also be beneficial for those interested in managing the symptoms of daily stress, chronic pain from work overuse and boosting overall energy.

Tai Chi and TCM traditionally were connected and used together to treat patients in China. There is a growing database of research on how Tai Chi is effective both as preventive medicine and to address specific health issues. As a 10 year Tai Chi practitioner, Jason found that Tai Chi is more than just physical therapy, it also enable him to have a deeper experience of how the Qi (energy) flows in the body. Thus able to offer diagnosis and then prescribe Tai Chi movements / postures based on patients’ needs. He is a disciple of Master Liu and volunteers at Yuan Shi Tai Chi Quan Dao (www.taichivancouver.net).

Jason is currently a Registered Acupuncturist with CTCMA. He graduated from the ICTCM of Vancouver. He has followed several top Chinese Medical doctors from USA, China and Taiwan and acquired different treatment techniques from them, such as:
