I grew up playing sports at a competitive level. The injuries I received during that period could have been recoverable through visits to a therapist. My drive for this career is to help people avoid going through the same experiences I did as an athlete.
I am currently a student in Langara’s Registered Massage Therapy program. My expected graduation date is December 2023 so I am close to finishing the program. At this point in my program, I have a firm understanding of massage therapy while aiming to further develop my technical skills.
On my time off, you can find me playing ultimate frisbee, volleyball or simply walking my dog. Though I don’t play sports at a super competitive level anymore, I still stay active and break a sweat.
